| Henan mobile company provide varied data services to cell-phone customers based on enormous GSM&GPRS network and many service platforms, such as netsurfing in WAP, multimedia message service (MMS), internet application in GPRS communication card.Many cell-phones have to be adjusted manually because they are made in different standards, which become a problem that users are not as easy to use service as they want.As the number of customer is increasing rapidly, this problem becomes the bottleneck of data service development.This thesis is started from the problem upon, through studying the network structure and service process of GPRS core, WAP system and MMS platform, ensure the standard that user terminal need obey. Then, the thesis proposes two solutions for the difficulty of cell-phone adjusting. Both of them have been implemented in the network of Henan mobile company, the first solution is "OTA message", the other one is "network fault-tolerance".The solution based on OTA technology needs set up OTA platform to sending OTA message within right information to cell-phone. This unique message makes cell-phone reading the information and adjusting itself. This solution has gained some achievement after being implemented.The solution based on network fault-tolerance needs some inside adaption in network system to adopt the mistakes in cell-phone and provide service to user. This solution has gained more achievement after being implemented.It is proved in reality that the solution based on network fault-tolerance has great positive affection on solving the cell-phone mistake inside. This solution reduce the difficulty when customer use mobile data service, improve the quality of service experience of customer, avoid the unnecessary cost of network occurred by no-useful request from cell-phone. It makes network more effective and leads win-win result between customer and mobile network operator, also flat the path to widely development of mobile data service. |
