With the development of Web 2.0 technology and application, multiple kinds of social network service (SNS) websites have gradually been prevalent in our daily life. Meanwhile, more and more people tend to enjoy diverse kinds internet services through their portable devices as the wireless mobile technology develops rapidly. In addition, with applications of other technologies, such as Global Positioning System (GPS) technology, search engine, and data mining, the computing capability of the portable devices and wireless network transmission capability have been improved remarkably. This, as a consequence, results in the possibility of mobile SNS applications, which deserve the mobile users' concerns and expecting. In this thesis, we firstly introduce the related technology backgrounds, including some technologies based on Web 2.0 and social network analysis with its applications. Especially, we discuss the current progress and some issues of integrating of social network and mobile service.Second, a novel mobile social network service model is proposed. Our model is able to give recommendation value among the mobile SNS users in terms of their social relationships strengths, actual geographical distances, and historical mutual communication records, etc. Then we apply this model to the mobile e-commerce service simulations. The results of simulations show that the proposed model can effectively help users to make the decision whether and how to make a deal referring to the recommendation values.Third, on the basis of our new model, we make an application "Travel Guide", a realization of one mobile social network service, built on the mobile multidimensional service composition framework. "Travel Guide" has four functions, including Travel Blog, Travel Plan, POI Guide and Tracing. The detailed designs of the Travel Blog service are shown, including function description, user interface, database, Message Sequence Chart (MSC) and Structure Description Language (SDL).And then, the test and demo environment of Travel Guide is introduced with descriptions of the test cases and results. Finally, the last chapter concludes this thesis. The existing problem and our future work are illuminated and my work and achievements are summarized.
