Microfluidic system is an integrated system consisting of micro-sensors, micro-pump, micro-valve, micro-pipe, micro-meter, and other component. Microfluidic system can be utilized to control the pressure, flux of the micro-fluid. The microfluidic system has the advantage of small dimension, low energy consumption and high stability. There are many applications of the microfluidc system in the engineering, such as the admeasure of the liquid, the injection of the drug, environmental monitoring and so on. The microfluidic system has broad market prospect.Hypospray is a new method of drug injection. It utilizes the power of the compressed spring or high pressure gas to push the liquid though a pore. The speed of the jet is very high. It can penetrate the cuticle and delivery the drug into the tissue.CFD software FLUENT is used to simulate the working process of hypospray. Discrete flow model of hypospray is obtained using unstructured grid. The transient boundary conditions of hypospray system is imposed by defining an user functions written by C language.Study of filtering and mixing efficiency of the microfluid filter is carried out in this study using the numerical simulation. The numerical result indicates that the filtering and mixing efficiency depends on the filter geometry, the number of filter pipe, the average flow velocity, and the amplitude, frequency of the periods flow.
