With the recent development in the fields of the multimedia, computer, networking and digital TV, it's really possible to transmit the data information using the broadcasting system.The main contribution of the dissertation can be summarized as follows:1) A new system of the DTV Packet Transmission Platform is designed which can broadcast all kinds of service data separately to the receiver. In the system we present a new module—GOUP, which make it possible to control the receiver separately. We also presented a new structure—PCT(Play Control Table), which is compatible with the DVB standards. Through the PCT receiver devices will play the ordered programs at the ordered time.2) A Data Packet device for the new system is developed which is the important device in the system. The device provides three packet modes, such as data piping, multi-protocol encapsulation, data carousel, and also provides transmitting channel to support the PCT and group data. Using the PCI card, the device send the TS pack to by ASI line. The frame of the Data Packet device is designed by Visual C++.In order to verify the design of the system and the device, the DTV Packet Transmission Platform is now applied in both the Focus TV system and the Bus Stop Board system.
