This thesis takes the railway passenger car carpet automatic cleaning and drying machine developed by science committee of NanChang railway administration as the research object, with in-depth analysis and research of the machine technological process, using fuzzy control technology and conventional PID control technology, to do further research and design for control algorithm of the original control system.This device is automatic equipment integrated with cleaning and drying, and is joint machine constituted by each individual unit. Each unit is made up of the asynchronous AC motor, the inverter, the swinging arm compensator, the speed reducer and so on, composing multi-unit synchronous control system. On the whole control system, the key problem is the problem of multi-unit synchronous control, for it can affect reliability and safety of the whole device.In this thesis, main works are as follow:1, with in-depth analysis and research to the machine technological process, mainly studied the multi-unit synchronous control system, designed a control system scheme, and established part mathematical model of control link;2, with in-depth analysis and comparison to control performance of the conventional PID control and the fuzzy control, made the each advantage and limitation of two control modes, and then proposed a method of combining the conventional PID control and the fuzzy control,namely fuzzy PID control technology;3, according to the actual situation of multi-unit synchronous control system, set suitable membership function and designed the fuzzy-PID control rule, and designed the fuzzy-PID controller. In this controller, its inputs was the angular displacement deviation e , and the angular displacement deviation change rate ec; its outputs was the PID parameters adjustable quantityΔK P,ΔK I,ΔK D ;4, using MATLAB/Simulink made a simulation model of multi-unit synchronous control system, and established the fuzzy control rule with toolbox Fuzzy, progressed system simulation research. The simulation results showed that: the control system of used the fuzzy PID controller, also has the strong adaptability and the good ant-jamming performance, when the system parameter changes and has a very big disturbance.5, through the above researchs, finally, the author had designed the circuit diagram of the railway passenger car carpet automatic cleaning and drying machine's electricity control system, and had compiled the PLC control procedure.At present, the railway passenger car carpet automatic cleaning and drying machine installed this control system has used in the washing factory of the ShenYang passenger train section, the washing factory of the DiWu passenger train section , and the washing factory of the FuZhou passenger train section and so on. Field operations show that the railway passenger car carpet automatic cleaning and drying machine based on fuzzy PID control has excellent control effect, high stability, strong anti-interference ability, and satisfies requirement of design.
