With the increasing intensification of contradictions between the increased energy consumption and reduced production, domestic oil fields strive to reduce the energy consumption throughout the whole process of the oil production. In the oil well system, the pumping unit motor drag plays a central role, and it affects the level of utilization of the costs and benefits of mining. Field production operation brings many problems to the oil wells production control. Manual testing is still the main measurement we use now to enhance oil wells production control. However, it has many limitations. According to the present situation, we design a set of intelligent tester of electrical parameters for the oil well, which used TMS3202812 as the core chip, to solve the problem.This paper introduces the application of DSP testing of electrical parameters and genlock for synchronous sampling. Tester adopts TMS320F2812 produced by TI firm as the core processors, getting analog signals by current transformer and voltage transformer, achieving digital-to-analog conversion through the multi-channel by ADS8364, showing the results of the calculation of the electrical parameters by the LCD screen, and achieving that data sent from the tester to PC by ISP1581 of USB chip. It can simultaneously collect the Rd 3 voltage and Rd 3 current. Meanwhile, the key algorithms applied in this system are introduced: using the whole frequency sampling sequence to calculate the voltage RMS, current RMS; calculating the active power by the product of samplings of voltage and current and then the mean value. Adopting digital signal processing technology parameters in the measurement of the power has unique advantages in improving measurement accuracy, and real-time, intelligent, systematic level.The success of this system will further advance the level of automation system of the oil wells, and help the system management staff improve the correct analysis of oil system efficiency and energy saving.
