Laser cutting is a newly emerging kind of thermal cutting, and it is featured by high precision, high efficiency and little pollution. It has become a hot spot in the development of thermal cutting technologies. In order to realize nationalization of precision laser cutting equipment, this paper, with its described project being supported as a Key S & T Special Projects by Chongqing Science & Technology Commission, researches and tackles key technologies of flexible laser precision cutting equipment, so as to meet the requirements of nationalization of laser precision cutting technologies in China.This paper analyzes and researches key technologies of flexible precision laser cutting machines in other countries. By researching the principles and classification of laser cutting and the working mechanism of each key component of laser precision cutting system, the paper focuses on the analysis of laser optical system, control system and electrical system, puts forwards the design plan for nationalization, and optimizes the precision cutting process for some applications of this equipment in the electronic industry. With reasonable parameters (output power, pulse frequency, pulse width, auxiliary pressure, etc), the requirements on equipment nationalization, high precision, high speed and stable performance can be met, and cut products will have smooth and even edges, without any slag.Finally, the paper summarizes the research contents of the subject and forecasts its development trend, hoping to provide some reference for further research and development of key technologies of laser cutting equipment.
