With the rapidly development of science and technology, precision guided weapon has progressed notably, but it was confronted with great challenge at the same time. In the interest of improving the hit rate of precision guided weapon, acquiring higher detection performance and being capable of attack multi-target at one time, a target detection algorithm of distributed aperture is proposed in this paper. Distributed aperture detection technology employs multi-sensor detecting, tracking and recognizing multi-target simultaneously, by this means, it can reduce the difficulty of target detection and achieve high hit rate, consequently distributed aperture detection algorithm becomes the research focus in target detection domain.This paper firstly introduces the basic concept and theory of distributed aperture detection algorithm, the fusion level and processing architecture is analyzed subsequently, and then a hardware implementation based on SOPC platform is presented.By combing the feature of single aperture target detection, a target trajectory detection algorithm based on trajectory association and glide belief test is presented. It can effectively improve the trajectory detection probability. A multi-aperture distributed fusion detection algorithm is also developed for the multi-sensor target detection problem. The algorithm can improve detection probability and reduce false alarm probability according to the theoretic analysis and Matlab simulation results.Multi-sensor passive ranging algorithm is introduced in distributed aperture detection system, then a distributed target identity management model based on target ECEF coordinate is also introduced.Finally, a CORDIC-based coordinate transform circuit is designed based on the requirement of distributed aperture detection system,the experiment results and analysis prove that the circuit can work at a high speed, its performance can meet the real time desire of distributed aperture detection system.
