In order to crack down on violent crime, to defend people's lives and property, armored units of our Armed Police Forces are formed and equipped with wheeled armored anti-riot vehicles in major cities and regions throughout the country. As a weapon equipment of special purposes, anti-riot armored vehicle is strongly required of high safety performance and reliability.In the course of missions, armored anti-riot vehicles are confronted with complicated conditions, which, geographical location of the vehicles and the weather conditions included, have great influence on the probability of malfunction and failure of them. So as to ensure the success of missions, immediate diagnosis and elimination of malfunction is the key. While the maintenance support for the armored anti-riot vehicles is closely related to geographical location of rescue maintenance center, geographical information system (GIS) technology is practically significant to condition monitoring and fault diagnosis of armored anti-riot vehicles.In view of application requirements, This thesis designs a operational management integrated information system for CAPF armored anti-riot vehicles. In the firt part, comprehensive discussion of current development of GIS technology and study the structure of GIS and MapX component-based GIS design technology are done with the conclusion to lay MapX component as the basis of the system for design analysis of the geographical conditions where the vehicles are located. After that, to meet the demand for vehicle location information in this system, this thesis further studies wireless location technology, with stress on the application of the D-S theory to improve positioning accuracy in the map-matching algorithm. And practical verification and simulation analysis of the effect of the matching algorithm are carried out in the study.With a view to real-time guarantee proper function of vehicle equipment, this thesis further studies the current development of fault diagnosis theory and technology and proposes a mixed tree structured fault diagnosis theory combining structure tree with fault tree and with integrated consideration of geographical and meteorological influences on armored anti-riot vehicles in missions and the advantage of vehicle location functions for the system. For better scalability, a relational database to save the inference rule and expression analysis techniques to solve analytical reasoning rules and conditions of matching are applied in the design of fault diagnosis module of the system. After the construction of the system framework and the structure of hardware integration, in the last part, the system's database structure and interface with the communications network are well designed, and the the information system software is realized by C# language.The development of the system involves a wide range of theoretical and technical work including geographic information system design, wireless positioning and map matching, fault diagnosis, databases, compiler algorithm and so on. The system is able to achieve the information integration and decision-making support for armored anti-riot vehicle. Its real application is on the way.
