Research And Implementation Of Intelligent Traffic Incident Vedio Detector's Embeded Soft Ware System

The highly effective and reliable traffic parameters and incident detection system can enhance the rapid response capability of the traffic management and road safety department. For the development of traffic incident detection system, here we are going to research the related issues about the embedded software system of traffic incident video detection.Found on the comprehensive analysis on the research of video detection technology from home and abroad, the paper designed the embedded traffic incident video detection software system based on TI C64x+ Series DSP. Using the dedicated video and image processing DSP chip TMS320DM6437 as the core, the system united the video capture and processing modules as well as the network transmission modules to process the video signals of PAL standard, then uploaded the detected traffic condition and the traffic incidents information to traffic management server through the network transmission module.The Paper researched the DSP operating system type and structure in detail, and realized the DSP peripheral interface device control and multi-tasking management by DSP simple supervised real-time operating system DSP/BIOS. At the same time, the paper elaborate DSP system boot mode and each mode's function and structure of the software, and designed software function modules such as system boot mode by EMIFA, image grabbing and processing, JPEG image compression and TCP/IP network communication.Field test results show that this Embedded software system can relatively accurately detect the traffic parameters and incidents, which can preferably solve the detecting problem of the traffic parameters and traffic incidents, so it has a highly application value.
