Study On Multi-Parameter Estimation Based On Polarization Sensitive Array

Polarization Sensitive Array (PSA)can acquire the polarization information besides the spatial information of the electromagnetic signals, which consists of a group of polarization sensitive elements. PSA possesses strong anti-jamming ability, robust detecting performance, high resolving power and polarization multi-address capability. The joint polarization and other parameters estimation methods have better performance on estimation precision, become the hotspot in recent years. At first, the article introduced the basic knowledge of polarization sensitive array signal processing, on the basis of which focused on the theory and methods about multi- parameter estimation of polarization sensitive array signal. These include: fourth-order cumulant of multi-parameter estimates and the joint spectrum estimated based on polarization sensitive array. The simulation results show the effectiveness of the approach. These two aspects are hotspot in the field of research about array signal processing, regardless of polarization of the array signal processing theory and its practical application, have a major significance.
