The technical level of coal miners decides the coal mine safety production. Now, because of the complex environment, it is hard to train the coal miners in the coal mine. So it is important to design and implements a system based on the Virtual Reality Technology, in order to train the new coal miners to deal with the different danger. It is effective to improve the overall quality of the miners and improve the economic efficiency of enterprises.Firstly, research and analyze the development status and trends of the Virtual Human technology at home and abroad, especially expounds on the application in mine production. Secondly, analyzes the geometric modeling technology of virtual human, builds the geometric model of miners in the system by using the technology based on NURBS Surface. Thirdly, analyzes the motion control methods, such as key frame technology, kinematics method, dynamics method, etc. And then, realizes the functions of miners' Motion Control in the system by using inverse kinematics control technology based on Jacobin matrix. At last, makes concrete exposition on the application and implementation of virtual human technology in the system, introduces the implementation of the system's function modules.The research, development and application of mine production simulation system will undoubtedly promote mine safety, production efficiency, change the system that mining industry is dangerous, difficult, inefficient, promote structural adjustment of the mining industry and industrial upgrade and become an important mean of mine optimum design, production management, risk assessment, miners' training and so on.
