The Design And Implementation On The System Of Data Quality Management In The Commercial Bank

The huge number of New Systems of Chinese companies will lead to the problem of the scattering of data sources, the difficulty of access to heterogeneous databases and the increase of the complexity of data interfaces, which are more complex than that of foreign enterprises data integration environment. Chinese companies often underestimate the degree of complexity of enterprise data, and lack in considering about the uniform data quality issues when they implement the data integration projects that cause a data integration projects can not successfully achieve its objective or even lead to a complete failure. At present, Chinese enterprises have begun to realize the significance of the data quality to data integration projects, and tried their best to improve the data quality, but for various reasons, the current efforts of the enterprises still has a long way to go to the enterprise-level management of data quality.This paper starts with the current situation of commercial banks data quality, and according to the source and cause, the issue has been divided into four major areas, such as the information problems, technical problems, process problems and management problems, and then further analyzes and describes commercial bank's demand, scope and management processes of data quality management. In the section of system design, this paper describes the overall application framework of the data quality management system, and has a detailed description of quality management system of data sources in the system layer, storage layer, function layer and application layer, and determines the data quality management system functions of the metadata and the related functions and applications of data quality management. In the section of system implementation, this paper has an in-depth exposition from the system of internal and external data interface, data model and application functionality.The final section of this paper summarizes the implementation situation of the system, objectively evaluates this system from several aspects such as technical innovation, standards and norms, and also expounds the parts which have to be improved.
