The Design And Implementation Of Hotel Visitor Management System

With the rapid economic growth in China in recent years,the grand flow of people,capital and material has complicated the public security work.To carry through the "Arming Polices With Science" policy of the Public Security Department,JinHua Public Security Bureau started to build the hotel management information system in 1998.However,with the continuing growing requirements of public security tasks,the current system cannot satisfy the need of massive operation applications.There are problems of slow transfer rate,lost of information, delay of alarm,and inefficiency of information sharing.To meet the needs of the current situation in public security system,this thesis researches the building of hotel management system from a practical perspective.This thesis analyses the current situations of hotels management,designs a VPN (Virtual Privated Network)-based hotel management platform,solves certain key problems like network communication and data upload,and hereby realizes the functions such as person identification,police distribution,short message alarm, cases merging,hotel guests management,and foreigners management.Moreover, based on this platform,we design a network-gambling-alarm system using datamining technologies.Major contributions of this thesis include:(1)Realizes a VPN-based hotel management platform,which provides supports for guests information collection,comparison,and police alarm.The system collects and stores various information of the hotels and guests,and lays a solid fundation for subsequent research work and the network-gambling-alarm system.(2)Develops a management system with strict user priority management.The system functions and security are implemented according to different priorities.It solves the essential security requirments in the system architecture,and also makes convenient the system mantanaince and upgrade.(3)Compares the collected guests information with the ones in CCIC(China Criminal Information Center) database,and can rapidly call in the police through short messages.This provides the technical fundation for the instant reaction of realted police departments. (4)Applies datamining technologies on the cirminal pre-alarm problems.Based on the guests database,the system mines the check-in rate,time,and ages of the suspected people,finds the statiscal modules and provides decision supports for related police departments.
