Research And Implementation Of Grid Information Management System Base On WCF

Grid Computing, a new technology still in its early stage, is limited to scientific computing today. This thesis tries to put grid computing into the practice of information management system, thus extending the use of grid computing.This thesis adopts the popular service-oriented software framework to construct grid information management system based on WCF ,Which helps to facilitate the information of educational administration of Lasa Normal College.WCF is a type of SOA-based distributional network communicative technology recently developed by Microsoft. WCF manages to integrate different Microsoft distributional technologies, supporting across-supplier interoperability, offering a reliable service-oriented distributional model and easing R/D staff's work. Explicit service-orientation guarantees WCF's central position among all distributional technologies recently developed by Microsoft. WCF takes lead of Remoting and Web Service in that it integrates and simplifies the use of distributional technology. Varied methods of programming inevitable in the past have been eliminated and Attribute Label, together with corresponding configuration, can now realize distributional communication between different technologies. Therefore, programmers, freed from the realization of technology, are allowed to focus on professional logic.This thesis makes a brief introduction of grid computing and related technologies, analyzing the trend of grid computing and unsolved problems. The concept and features of WCF have been enumerated and general design based on WCF grid information management system has made necessary preparation for the realization of the system. Deeper research into WCF technology aids to infiltrate WCF technology into the service layer of information management system and the service layer based on WCF proves to be a convenient way to replace communication protocol through rewriting configuration files. What is more important, WCF technology is capable of managing and transferring data bases of different servers, thus equipping this system with grid-qualities. Thanks to the application of WCF technology, the service layer of this system simultaneously supports the transferring of NET client terminal as well as Java web-page terminal, realizing distributional service-platform heterogeneous network.
