Design And Development Of Individual Credit Reference System Based On ETL

Credit is functioned to maintain a normal relationship among different social and economic entities. Personal credit is the base for national credit. Most of the developed countries in the West have established a mature individual credit system. China's individual credit reference system is still in a pilot stage, so to establish and improve a personal credit system is an important part of the set up of financial information system. It is important in the process of setting up a Chinese credit system that the national unified individual credit information database system has been built and put into trial operation. Although previously in Shanghai and Shenzhen there have been built a database of personal credit information system as a trial, however , such an enormous amount of data involving multi-system establishment is rare in domestic banking sector.This thesis consists of three parts. In the first part, the article states the development of personal credit information, the process of setting up individual credit system and the existing problems. After that is the analysis of the reasons for the implementation of the individual credit reference system, as well as the establishment of an individual credit information system model and put forward the topic of this research. At last the article introduces briefly the technology and tools used in the system.The second part is the main body of the thesis, which explains in detail the software in the whole system and database design and development process and demonstrates the results of the implementation.The design of software includes two parts, one is the data extraction, processing module design, and the other is the design of message generation modules. The data extraction and processing module are developed with the built-in SQL Server2000 Data Transformation Services (DTS) and by building a data processing flow to complete the import, conversion and dump of data collection from core business systems. The message generation module is developed with Delphi. The connection between Delphi and SQL Server is realized by ADO Connection control and by designing a data amend interface, message generation interface. Through relevant program, a standard message will be formed in line with the requirements from individual credit reference system.The design of the database system has two main components--database design and database application platform development. The database is realized by 6 data paragraph required by personal credit information system. The database application platform is used to operate the database application program interface—the message generation module. It uses the popular Delphi language and realizes the access to the database.Part III is the system test describing the problems should be noted during the test, verifying the security and stability of the overall system and ensuring the integrity and accuracy of message generated by the individual credit reference system.The difficulty of the design lies in that it is difficult to control the process in Data Transformation Services (DTS), such as multi-table cycle and conditions identification. The use of DELPHI programming language and embedded programs into DTS realizes the function of Data Transformation Services (DTS) in SQL SERVER and achieves a more complex multi-table cycle and logic defination.The whole design emphasizes the parameter and scalability of the product, so that the whole system has greater flexibility to meet business needs.
