MAGIS is a platform of web-based environment, which is marine atmospheric application-oriented and made up of data management, spatial-temporal analysis and dynamic visualization functions. In the process of constructing multidimensional spatial-temporal database, its data management sub-system of MAGIS realizes a number of important functions: integration of reading multi-types data files, integration of multi-types data preprocessing methods, query of multi-model database and so on; the spatial-temporal analysis sub-system of MAGIS provides many analysis functions: advanced statistical analysis, spectral analysis, time series analysis, spatial analysis, multi-model prediction analysis and so on; the dynamic visualization sub-system of MAGIS provides lots of functions such as multi-dimensional dynamic display and layer control.The research background of this thesis is marine atmospheric GIS, research direction is workflow technology, and research purpose is to achieve the net flow of MAGIS. We take workflow technology into the research of marine atmospheric GIS to enable complex marine atmospheric flow to become easy. Specifically, this thesis includes the following contents:1) Designing workflow modelWe designed a tree workflow model, and achieved scheduling control work for various kinds of analysis and visualization methods of MAGIS platform.2) Designing and implementing order detecting systemIn this thesis, we dealt with user's submitted orders with Windows technology, and designed two ready queues that were used to save ready orders. At the same time, in the system, we designed three timers that were responsible for the extraction of new orders, analysis of new orders, order execution using executive system.3) Designing and implementing order execution systemIn the system, we designed mainly four basic modules: data processing, analysis, visualization and results treatment. Then we dealt with user's orders with these four modules.
