The Design And Realization Of Student Course Selection And Score Management System

With the maturity of computer science and the popularization of the Internet, the influence of computer network for instruction is evident more and more. Universities have established platform of information management and service by computer network communication to support teaching, researching and management activities and so on.With the development of higher education reform,many universities took the course selection system. In order to strengthen the standard management of course selection and score management, reduce the workload of teaching managers, improve the accuracy and speed of the processing information, achieve centralized management and decentralized operations, this system is developed for student course selection and score management based on B/S architecture. I adopt the methods of software engineering, MySQL Server 5.0 as Database Server, Tomcat as Web Server, and use the JSP+JavaBean+Servlet model to develop the Web application system. The system is developed for three categories of users, students,teachers and administrators. The system provides a function, which is good for students to update some of their information, the management of selecting course and querying their scores and results of course selection. And for the teachers, it is convenient to query the curricular lessons that they teach and the students'information, and upload scores of the students. At last, it is good for administrators to manage all the information of the lessons, classes, students and teachers.
