Since reform and opening up, China's media industry has made a leap-forward development, becoming a sunrise industry rising. PEST factors as contained in the important one - the population factor for the media industry clearly plays a vital role in development. In this paper, China's media industry development indicators and population indicators correlation analysis, with a view to a more ambitious vision of the community to take advantage of China's state media industry characteristics and trends for the development of science and the development of macro-media policies to promote inter-media industry in China the coordination of sustainable development based on theory and practice.In this paper, trying to build a framework for the media industry and the media development indicators of industrial development based on the framework of demographic factors, in 2006 in 31 provinces (urban) development of indicators of media industry data and indicator data for the study of population samples will be divided into the media industry press , radio and television industry and the three types of network industry, each with the demographic factors (divided into the population, the quality of the population and population structure) of the correlation analysis.
