In recent years,more and more large capacity,high-quality streaming media files come out on the Internet.These files need more transmission time,and it is very difficult to cache.Then the researchers put forward to some idea to improve the structure of proxy cache,aimed to decrease latency and improve the quality of the proxy cache.At present,more researches about streaming media are based on CDN.Compared to the traditional structure of WEB cache,the CDN-based architecture is faster in transmission speed,saving network resource,and the architecture is clear and easy to maintain.What the most research and the most concern about Streaming media technology is the streaming media storage and scheduling method.On the basis of CDN proxy cache, people make a lot of segmentation and the scheduling method.The more prominent methods are prefix cache buffering;fixed-length and variable-length segmentation and proxy cache methods(such as row-segmentation,index-segmentation method) and based on the popularity of access to dynamic segmentation methods;about the Scheduling method for the proxy cache,what the more efficient is the batch method with the patch cache.These methods are upgrading from a utilization of the proxy cache to improve the quality of the user's visit.In this paper,on the basis of CDN proxy cache,we make some improvement,and combined with P2P technology in the proxy server,make the sharing of resources come true among the proxy servers;and change the way of the single segmentation,It makes different segmentation methods to the different users differentiated by network situation.To some users with the certain network,the length of the next segment lies on the frequency and the average length by bit that the users accessed;while the write cache and replacement strategy is based on coefficient consisted of the popularity and the trends,the average length by bit that the uses accessed.This dynamic segmentation method ensures the effectiveness of content in the proxy cache,and increases the utilization of the cache.About scheduling,on the basis of CDN,combined with the P2P technology,choose the batch scheduling with the pre-fetching cache patch strategy, which accelerates the speed of the user's access,and improves the performance of the proxy server.
