Research And Implementation Of A Proxy Cache Server For Streaming Media

With the development and use mildly to the internet, a number of data is expressed with streaming media. Real time of streaming media and bandwidth do not meet demand of network resource. In order to relax network pressure and meet the need of customer, a lat of new technology is advanced, and one of them is policy of proxy.Since streaming media file is very huge, proxy cache way which is used usually is not fit fir the file, and we need new proxy cache way which can solve the problem.On the base of the used proxy cache for streaming media in this paper, we use prefix cache + patching algorithm which is administration way for cache. Referred to operation principle of streaming media server and used RTSP protocol. The system of proxy cache for streaming media is achieved.This paper includes four parts. PartⅠoutlines research background of streaming media, current situation, research thinking and way. PartⅡexplains basis knowledge about streaming, and various real time transmission protocols are researched about streaming transmission technology carefully, partⅢdwells on technology on proxy cache mainly, and advanced design objective and characteristics evaluation of proxy cache for streaming media. PartⅣemphasizes on building for server and proxy server for streaming media, which is combined with our university, and emphasizes the management of prefix cache and improved and implementation patching algorithm. Realize the streaming media transmission system which be discuss in this paper.
