Research On The Technical Improvements And The Industry Development Of Search Engine

The basic function of internet is providing information. Considering the mass of information on line, the search engine becomes the method for seeking useful information out of the mass, and indispensible method and basic application. In China, the growing population of netizens make it necessary to improve search engine technology and this industry.This paper analyzes the development of search engine industy and its technology based on the investigation. Then it points out the advantage in the industry and the existing problems.Based on this, this paper puts forward two suggestions to improve search engine technology. First, text search through wavelet and image inverted. Second, ranking sequence based on user preference. Also, this paper proposes several solutions to develop search engine industry, such as, developing vertical search; mobile search; developing upstream and downstream industries; cultivation of talents; government support; legislation of search engine.Based on analysis on search engine industry, its technology, advantage and existing problems, this paper gives advice and solutions, which has reference value for promoting search engine industry continued development.
