Acoustic source localization technology under complicated situation is widely used in video conferences, multimedia system, and robotics etc. especially in nobody's post situation where it has been expected to show many potential applications in video monitoring system. Because of highly complexity of background noise and room reverberations in real environment, the application of acoustic source localization technology in engineering has the disadvantage of low precision, large calculating amount, and high cost. In order to resolve these questions, this paper concentrates on modern signal processing method, research on acoustic source localization in complicated environment, it provides theoretical basis for engineering application of acoustic source allocation technology. The work of the article includes mainly:①To analysis on current acoustic source localization, this paper finally chooses a sound source localization method based on the time delay estimation, which it has the following advantages: small calculating amount, high real time and so on.②The sound source signal which received by microphones adopts band-pass filter. wavelet de-noising, and speech endpoint detection to undertake pretreatment.③On the basis of time delay estimation analysis, it presents extracting mode of echo-free onset signal without reverberation, which adopts Complex Cepstrum analysis, in strong reverberation environment, and use this signal in time delay estimation. Then lists several traditional way to compare with it, by using the Matlab/Simulink.④Studying on azimuth location, it introduces the way of the searching target of function space and geometrical location, and presents localization model of 3D-position by three microphones, as well as simulation and comparison of localization accuracy.⑤The development of actual sound source localization system, described the design process of software and hardware in detail, including the test in real situation, and obtains the expected result. The system gets achievement of 3D-position. By consulting the feedback data from test result, it proves the feasibility of system's application and the reliability of system design. In the end, by analyzing the testing result, it has pointed out the focus for the next step further research.
