R&D Of Pneumatic Marker Control System Based On USB Interface

Pneumatic marker is an important assistant tool widely used in the fields of auto, motor, machine and aero industry, and it can make products be effectively managed andidentified in manufacturing and utilization. At present, foreign pneumatic marker technology is more mature, but very expensive, while the domestic pneumatic marker system is not strong, easy to lose accuracy and operation inconvenience. Therefore, developing a pneumatic marker control system that is affordable, reliable and easy to operate has some theoretical significance and more practical value.The paper developes a pneumatic marker with USB interface based on Windows platform. The control panel of the device in hardware uses SCM and FPGA as a control chip of stepper motor control panel. CP2102 is the USB interface chip of control panel. Windows XP operating system is used as software platform. And VisualC++6.0 as the development tool compiles program.The main contents of of the paper are as follows:①Analysis of the status quo for pneumatic marker, pointing outthe developing direction in market at present and proposing solution;②Choice of various programs and putting forward the whole design based on USB interface, single-chip control and FPGA control using VisualC++6.0 as software development tool;③SCM design, FPGA functions, control procedures and hardware circuit design;④Software design and demonstration of its functions;⑤Anti-interference design on hardware,software and communication.The stability of the whole system is well in debugging course. The products are put on the market. From the feedback of customers, the system works stably; the printing speed meets the design specifications; and can operate smoothly and fast with a high precision. The corresponding specifications reach the leader level on market and the products have been fully affirmed by customers.
