As the development of data with the mobile communications business, the industrial applications that based on mobile data services also followed the rise of it, the advancement in industry information provides a broad market prospects for the applications. At present, the telecom operators only can provides transmission channel for the business, unable to carry out integrated management of terminal industry, application for the development of industry has also brought a lot of unfavorable factors. Such as, the cycle of industry application development is long, technical threshold is high, and so on. In order to speed up mobile data services based on industry applications, have effective terminal management of various trades and a large number of dedicated customers, provide better service for customers. There is a need to build a platform between the terminal industry and private sector clients, that is, terminal management M2M service platform. This platform will allow the customers in real-time monitoring and managing its terminal industry, not only provide a better basis for decision-making but also reduce the development of the difficulty in industrial applications, driven its large-scale development.This article narrates the M2M terminal management system design, M2M terminal management platform design and implementation in detail. Specifically, this article is mainly directed as the following aspects: From the demand side analysis, go deep into M2M current situation, for the problems that exist in M2M industry value chain proposing the use of M2M terminal management platform for the unified management of M2M terminals, and in-depth study of existing mobile communication technology. In the system design aspect, M2M model uses two types of parallel applications, that is separation mode in management flow and business flow, and parallel mode in management flow and business flow, Completed the whole system design of network structure. And for the characteristics of terminals, I adopted the long and short way to connect the terminal with the communication platform. Deeping analysis of business logic, completed the system design of business processes, mainly include the terminal registration and login process, terminal report information flow, terminal Control processes. In the design of the platform aspect, completed the functions of the platform design and database design. In the choice of framework platform, used the Struts, Spring and Hibernate integration framework for the development. In order to improve the maintainability and reusability of M2M management platform, it used the platform-level design model and the modular design of the structure. And selected the B/S structure, used JSP technology to realize the module function in platform.This system achieved remote monitoring for M2M terminal, remote parameter configuration, remote upgrade, and remote control functions. Providing a highly efficient terminal management platform for industrial customers, increased efforts to terminal regulation, improved the efficiency of the terminal management, which made the terminals management became easier and more intelligence.
