Rapid progress in the domain of information technique provides an increasing demand for the applied systems of Web in modern society. At present, a key interest point for software developments lies in how to design high-performance Web systems to meet particular requirements. In general, it is essential to adopt flexible programming designs and frameworks to quickly adapt the modifications arising in different stages. In the aspect of traditional software developments, some similar systematical frameworks and functional codes had to be rewritten, which is a great disadvantage for software engineers. Fortunately, the development of framework technique provides a better technical support which can realize the reuse of the aforementioned similar codes and designs. In the past several years, software engineers have fully recognized the benefits of framework technology based on Java or .NET platform. However, the fundamental frameworks of both Java and .NET are originally designed to address general demands, which make it difficult to satisfy some specific needs. This dissertation mainly concentrates on the structural design aspect of applied service layer founded on .NET in the field of Web exploitation and aims to construct an assembled and efficient programming framework. The core of Web system lies in applied service layer, which can be subdivided into five parts, i.e., data physical layer, physical control layer, data access layer, business rule layer and business appearance layer. Addressing the practical problems occurring in the framework construction, this dissertation presents corresponding solutions, proposes the motivation and objective of related modules, and finally realizes the blueprint, called GWF (General Web FrameWork), successfully. The constructed GWF framework not only adopts some popular design patterns, but also skillfully utilizes some well-known techniques, including reflection, XML and commission, which makes the Web programming become flexible and expandable to a great extent. The proposed framework scheme may help software engineers to remarkably improve the efficiency of programming developments.
