Due to its high performance, optical fiber is more and more popular in the field of high performance computing. Optical fiber is a circuit-switched network, which needs to reserve an independent path before communication. Although the huge bandwidth of optical network can make up for this drawback, its influences on collective communication with high path building cost. In this paper, we present our experience in implementing MPI Multicast over optical fiber.Through changing the ADI (Abstract Device Interface) level of the MPICH2, we add the control module to send the command message to the optical control plane agent-BUNIA. With the Binomial Tree algorithm, the MPI Multicast tree can be parallel build up in LogN cycle. And it improves the maintenance , modify and release process to realize the dynamic management of the MPI Multicast tree. The excellent examination result display the improvement of communication ability. This method overcome a obstacles of the MPI Multicast over optical network.
