At present,it is a trend to apply computer technology in teaching and learning programs.With the rapid development of computer application,the application of network technology grows fast,bringing revolutional changes to the technique means and media of examinations.Thus the computer aided examination test system has come into being and is networking with the popularization of Internet.This essay discusses the theoretic basises of distributed applicatiion software technology,such as software mode,DCOM technology,CORBA technology,EJB technology and so on,and analyzes the component and principle of MIDAS.This paper explains Test theory(CTT,IRT) and Exam-paper Formation Pinciple,analyzes the mathematic model and the common calculation methods of Exam-paper Formation,and proposes an optimized random calculation method based on binomial distribution principle.According to the above related throries,a C/S structure model is built based on DCOM,ADO,and MIDAS technologies,and a multi-tier distributed network test system is designed.This essay analyzes the design and implementation of most modules of the system in detail,and discuses some key techniques,including ADO optimization,load balance,fault-tolerance,multi-media data storage etc.,as well as some shortcomings of the system and the improvement solutions.
