Virtual instrument is a kind of instruments in functional level,which is produced by the combination of computer technology and measure technology.Virtural instrument not only has the functions of the traditional instrument,but also has many more extra functions by using the computer software.Therefore,virtual instrument has a wide usage in many fields,such as communication,automatization,space navigation,etc.This dissertation is based on the research work of virtual instrument platform;the key points are portability and transplante-capacity.This platform implements three kinds of virtual instruments:virtual oscillograph,virtual waveform generator and data acquisition node.The hardware component and underlying component technologies, which are a brand new attempt in the design of virtual equipment,have been adopted in this dissertation.In this method,the virtual instruments platform has been divided into three modules:main control module,utility module and communication module. Dependent on the ways of connection,three virtual equipments can be realized.This platform provides interface for some enhancement in the future.In this design,USB2.0 technology is used as the interface between computer and instrument hardware,which makes data transfer speedily and smoothly.A Freescale 16bit dual core MCU is adopted as main control chip,which makes system-control and data-handle running on different CPUs.Besides,μC/OS-Ⅱis ported on this chip,which keeps the whole system operating in a stable and timely way.A brandnew method of constructing hardware abstract layer based on tiny OS has been brought out,which makes different models' connection smoothly.The complexity of single system in this design has been cut down;at same time, product's stability has been enhanced.Therefore,the method used in this design is universal and valuable in both theory and practice.
