Research On Key Technology Of The Information Gathering And Broadcast In VTS

VTS (Vessel Traffic Services) is a traffic management system integrated with navigation technology, communications technology, computer network technology and maritime technology, and the use of VTS System greatly enhanced the macro-control capacity of the Marine competent department and also effectively reduced the rates of the traffic accidents. With the rapid development of information technology and the rapid increase of ships in traffic, and also more and more new technologies blended into VTS, it will play more important role in the traffic management.However, in the practical application, various VTS centres use the systems of different companies with different information standards, therefore, most of the coastal VTS centers are basically working in an independent state, it is difficult to achieve information sharing. What's more, VTS system can provide a variety of information services, but because of the limits of information transmission and its sending ways, many of the functions are not able to provide services for the customers.Concerning with the current state, this paper also pays attention to the practical problems and needs in the weatern projects of our country"Research on VTS, AIS and network monitoring system of public information-sharing technology", and studies the acquisition and broadcast of information of the VTS system, and it becomes available to share data between different VTS systems; and the users can get the VTS information services through the common means of information transmission. In this paper, using VC + +6.0 to design the software of the VTS information collection, and achieved the main results of research as follows.(1)Research the common-used methods of data transmission and analysis the advantages and disadvantages of its application in broadcast information, and do experiments on this basis. (2)Analysis the domestic studies of the international exchange formatof information of VTS , and proposes the the broadcast data message format and communication protocol format.(3)Completed two sets of VTS systems with dynamic tracking of ships and information collection (including both serial and FTP), information processing and transmission of the system software design.In this paper, the information collection, information processing and information broadcast module has been successfully applied to the western projects of our country, and also achieved good effectiveness.
