Wireless Local Area Network is composed of a group of mobile node which connects through wireless medium in local area.In the recent years,WLAN have a rapid development of their convenience,quickly establishment and high credibility.These advantages make the research on WLAN become an important part in the fields of networks.The wireless local area network was very early been used in the foreign ports,many ports still carry on the communication through the intercom at present in our country,this makes the information exchange is inaccurate and not real-time,and the anti-jamming ability is not strong.These problems were serious influence the working efficiency.So it is very important to research this topic.This paper based on the harbor wireless local area network design principle,has carried on thorough analysis and research to the following several aspects:Firstly,this paper studies the choice of WLAN standard,and research the basic composition,network construction of WLAN under the IEEE 802.11 standard,then analyzes the carrier interception mechanism,avoidance rule,restores with the re-transmit rule and access IFS under the protocol of IEEE 802.11 MAC layer,and analysis the network performance index of the MAC protocol.Secondly,this paper studies the principle of the basic access mode and optional RTS/CTS access mode of DCF protocol,and we have carried on the simulation to two access modes through the OPNET platform.Through the arialysis we get the conclusion that we need to select the different mode according to the different situation to communicate when designs the wireless network.Thirdly,this paper studies the DCF Backoff Mechanism.We have carried on the optimization to BEB under the IEEE 802.11 standard.The simulation through the OPNET platform shows that the optimized algorithm has a better compatibility and the network throughput performance was also improved.Fourthly,this paper studies the anti-interference measures of WLAN on port and analysis the no cover condition,half cover condition as well as the entire cover condition models and gets the conclusion that we could use frequency skipping way to optimize.We have carried on the optimized analysis how to booster signal effective coverage.Through unifies the actual geography situation of the Xiamen Haitian port,we proposes the design and deployment scheme of Xiamen Haitian WLAN,and we have carried on the simulation to this scheme.It provided reliable basis for the scheme confirmation.
