The substation planning is very important in power network planning.Whether the result is planned reasonably will affect the network construction,the power supply quality and the efficiency of the power system directly,and it will also be relative to the distribution network planning in future.In this paper,the usual optimization algorithms are studied,for example particle swarm algorithm.A new algorithm-bacterial colony algorithm is studied,in which,by improving parameter control strategies to enhance the success rate and convergent precision,and used in substation planning to get a good effect.Taking the economics model of substation planning as basic,basing on AutoCAD software platform,using.NET VC++ and ObjectARX et al.development technology, combining large-scale database,the design and realization of substation planning module in power grid planning platform are completed.Used in the actual planning project,the software enhanced the efficiency of substation planning,ensured the practicability of substation location and got a preferable application effect.
