Due to the complexity of the actual optimization problem,the traditional optimization method has strong dependence on the optimization problem,and it often has some limitations when solving complex and difficult optimization problems.So the swarm intelligent algorithm with good optimization effect and strong usability has been developed.It is widely used in various fields such as automatic control,pattern recognition,artificial intelligence and so on.In this paper,the Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO)algorithm of swarm intelligence algorithm is studied,which combines with Bacterial Colony Chemotaxis algorithm(BCC).A hybrid particle swarm optimization(PSOBCC)——Particle Swarm Optimization and Bacterial Colony Chemotaxis optimization,applies to the antenna array to reduce the sidelobe level and generate the deep zero point.The main research results are as follows:(1)The basic concepts,implementation methods,defects and improvement methods of PSO algorithm are described and analyzed,and the research status and research trend of PSO algorithm are further elaborated.(2)In order to improve the speed of algorithm searching,this paper changes the updating formula of particle swarm algorithm,keeps only the position item to update iteratively and re-sets the values of inertia weight and learning factor.Meanwhile,in order to improve the convergence accuracy of the algorithm,the Bacterial Colony Chemotaxis algorithm was introduced to local search.In the whole optimization process,the global optimal value is randomly disturbed,and the elite substitution strategy is proposed.(3)Some test functions of the optimization algorithm are studied,and the algorithm is tested with three test functions: single peak test function,multimodal test function,and classic test function which is rotated and translated,and compare it with some newest and classical algorithms.(4)The PSOBCC is applied to the pattern synthesis of the array antenna.The low side lobe and the deep zero point in the array antenna are optimized and the better results are obtained.
