Research On Self-help Ship Design Advisory Service System Base On Web

In the era of knowledge economy at nowadays, scientific and technical information support is the prerequisite and infrastructure for scientific research activities. The development of computer networks provides a new information security system for scientific research. How to make full use of network advantages has become the focus of the study in various industries.In the field of ship design, the design of a ship usually begins with the compilation of specification. Specification is an important basis for ship design, which is made by ship-owner, and reflects their design requirements adequately. Specification should reflect the basic requirements of the ship performance and the use of the design ship. Usually, it includes navigation area, function of the ship, main technical performance, main/auxiliary engines and other main equipments, cabin standard etc. In the preparation of specification, it is often required to investigate the using requirement and analytic demonstrate the main technical elements and furnishment. This requires that ship-owner should do a lot of investigation before making the specification.As for small-scale design companies, the accumulation of their technology, knowledge and design materials are limited. Therefore, they have a strong demand for the technology, knowledge and design materials.In order to improve the efficiency of pre-study and the demand of those small-scale companies, this paper proposes the idea of establishing the self-aid consultancy system for vehicle design, which takes advantage of Agent intelligent design principle and is based on the collaborative design of ship. First, it introduces the current research condition and application on ship collaborative design, analyzes ship owner's information demands in the step of investigation and divides the system by levels. Then it focuses on introducing of basic concepts and principles of Agent technical, studies multi-Agent system design in self-help ship design advisory, builds the Agent construction of self-help ship design advisory system on the basis of Agent theory and achieves the function of Agent module in hull design by program. The necessary figures are also analyzed in this paper, the databases which meet the requirement of system are established, and the function of ship equipments query and correlative ship knowledge on-line study are achieved at the same time. The forum module is also added for humanizing the system service.The ship design consultation self-system is the development of ship collaborative design, and it has a certain significance and reference value for ship collaborative design research.
