There are various workflow languages and orchestration languages, as each language was only implemented on its own engine, all which are lack of portability. Therefore, how to utilize web services on distributed environment with the scientific research on automatic process is the key point in SWF model.In this paper, the author has done the research on SWF model based on MDA (Model-Driven Architecture). On the one hand, it applies to web services development. In UML model, we describe the web services and orchestrate them. On the other hand, the abstract level of SWF model development has been raised, independent of technology environment. Firstly, we need to create the process model, the PIM without considering of platform. Secondly the PIM transform into PSM with model transform rule. In this way, research on SWF development with MDA could solve the services orchestration and increase the reusability. In this paper the author has done the research on SWF model based on MDA, the model of PIM using UML activity diagrams, the model of the PSM with BPEL and the mapping rules between UML and BPEL. Finally, we validated the usability of MDA on SWF and performability of workflow script via a typical example in the field of computational chemistry.
