With the growth of computer capability, grid computing has become an important tendency of computer improvement. As a significant of grid computing, e-Science links large data sets and heterogeneous databases to form a cooperative environment. Now, the e-Science environment which is based on grid architecture has integrated a mass of computing and data resources. All these resources are used by grid services. However, the grid service in one grid platform can't be composited with services of other grid platforms because of different mechanisms and interfaces. And this problem has caused the resource island among grid platforms. As a technology of grid application automation and resource sharing, scientific workflow aims at the customization of large scale scientific process. It provides an auxiliary environment for scientists to make discovery. Usually, a scientific workflow management system (SWFMS) only can use the same kind of grid services to define workflow, and this make the composition of heterogeneous grid service even tougher. In this paper, we use CGSP and GOS which are supported by Education Department and NSFC to implement of abstract scientific workflow management system based on e-Science. By abstracting heterogeneous grid services, the system not only provides a visual scientific workflow environment, but also composites heterogeneous grid services. At last, we implement a workflow of Computational Chemistry based on abstract scientific workflow management system. And we prove that the solution resolves the problem of composition of heterogeneous grid service and improves the resource sharing among grid platforms.
