In recent years, the display and storage of Mathematical formulas in computer is a hot research topic. At present, the mainly methods are as follows: MathML, OpenMath, LaTeX and Infix. Each has its own characteristics and advantages, so the scope and field of use are different. Diversity of display and storage of Mathematical formulas means that users have more choices. But at the same time, it also brings many problems. For example, datas can not be interactive between different systems , because of the storage difference. In addition, in order to adapt to different system requirements, the same data need to be input repeatedly. So it is important to research the translation of mathematical expression. In this paper, based on research of mathematical expression encoding standards and existing expression conversion technology, we mainly focus on the translation of mathematical expression encoding, such as MathML Content, MathML Presentation, OpenMath LaTeX and Infix. The main work is as follows:1. Using the stack and list structure, the translation of Infix to MathML was realized. The translation of MathML Content to Infix was realized by parsing MathML DOM tree.2. Analysis the relationship between OpenMath and MathML Content. Research the mapping of mathematical expression and symbol between LaTeX and MathML Presentation.3. A mathematical expression translating Web services based on the REST was also proposed. Not only provide the translating services of MathML Content, MathML Presentation, OpenMath, and LaTeX, but also provide the generation services of picture, pdf, ps and dvi document...
