The Design On Planning For Integrated Of Wired And Wireless Network In Lanzhou University Of Finance And Economics Library

The majority of colleges and universities in our country have established campus networks, which cause tremendous impact and profound changes to higher education. With the increase demand of network for teachers and students in recent years, the existing network resources could not meet the requirements. Especially the inconvenience of limited information and mobile communication and other issues at the library always leads to inefficient work. Therefore, school library network expansion must be put on the agenda. But the cable network could not achieve the coverage of all campus regions, and the increase of information point also needs to reorganize construction of the network, at a certain extent, the limitations of the cable network hinder the overall progress of education informationization.With the development of wireless LAN technology and sophisticated wireless products in recent years, wireless network can provide new feasible ideas for the expansion of campus network. The local area wireless network has a lot of advantages such as simple and convenient construction, expansion capability, mobility, free from constraints of geographical features. Through IEEE802.11g, b standards, the existing cable network can be smooth seamlessly connected with existing computer network and terminal, and show good compatibility and integration with the wired network resources.After analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of cable networks and wireless networks, this thesis has proposed the possibility of using combination of cable networks and wireless networks on the campus to deal wih the current difficulties in the process of expansion design. Lanzhou Commercial College Library has been applied to test the proposals for the library network improvement by the way of using wired and wireless hybrid design. In this program, we take into account both input costs and output efficiency of the optimal allocation problem, and the actual creative combination of a wireless network deployed in the environment reconnaissance, AP number and the principle of deployment, wireless network security and other practical problems solutions.This thesis meets the actual demand closely, from a theoretical perspective to explain the implementation and technical inputs provided by a college-effective convergence of wired and wireless network library construction program, which can be extended to the entire campus network construction. At the same time, it also has a certain degree of theoretical value and practical significance of the establishment of a similar kind of network expansion.
