An Auto Testing System Study Based On VXI Bus Technology

Advanced testing technique and equipments are very important in the process of researching, producing and using for the equipments of army. The test system plays a crucial role to promote the performance of the productions of army.Integrated with the development of automated testing system and on basis of sufficient researches about military VXIbus system, this paper combined VXI bus technology with computer technology and virtual Instrument technology and designed a universal, modular and standard automatic testing system. The main content of this dissertation is as follows:Firstly, based on the study of the conception and principal about opening testing system, virtual instrument technology and method of building auto-testing system base on VXIbus, according to the practical testing requirements of the production, the general scheme of auto-testing system was designed.Secondly, according to the production's testing requirements and standard of VXI technology, FPGA module was designed as special signal source and the system tolerance was analyzed.Thirdly, according to the needs of overall scheme, the special adapter, signal conditioning circuit and protesting circuit were designed.Fourthly, according to the user's requirement, the automatic test system and manual test system are developed using LabWindows/CVI. By using the VISA and ODBC technology, the automatic test system is independent to the lower level I/O interface, operating system and test units. As a result, the generality, maintainability, expandability , reliability and flexibility of the system have been greatly improved. The manual test system is convenient for the user to use the system.Lastly, Debugging and tolerance analysis for the testing system shows that this system satisfies to the technical requests. The testing system has used for practical test of some products, and the performance of the system is reliable and stable.
