Electronic technology of automobile is a revolution on the motor technical phylogeny, and is a important symbol which weigh modern motorcar technique level too. Electronic technology of automobile is the production that traditional automobile industry combine modern electron technology. Inner control system of vehicle can offer comfortable, convenient, secure condition for motorman and passenger. Inner control system of vehicle include these facility: air-condition control for motorcar, digital dashboard, windshield wiper control for windshield, dynamo control, obstacle detection of the rear end of a car, security safeguard system, multiplex communication system, door lock control, electromotion window control, life belt control, air sack control, and so on. On informationization age , people spontaneously bethink of network control system.CAN industrial local area networks, called controller area network,which is a serial bus with high speed ,high reliability ,and low cost for distributed real time control applications,are widely used in the framework of real-time distributed industrial applications and distributed processing systems. A new controlling method to the vehicle body control system based on the CAN–BUS is issued in the paper, which is universal, programmable, maintainable and intelligentized.At the beginning, the basic topology and working theory of the vehicle body control system based on the CAN-BUS is introduced. Following, the paper analyses and discusses the issues of hardware composing, parameter choice, controlling methods, and software implementing in the system. Every nodes in the system can get data from the network, at the same time, many kinds of faults auto-examing and auto-protecting functions are provided in the system, and its programmable design is adapted to many situations.
