With the development of information technology, information systems with different platforms and different data source are set up to assist the enterprise in processing business. So it is an essential problem to provide an efficient integration mechanism to realize application integration of heterogeneous systems, avoid enterprise "information islands" and optimize enterprise business processes.Based on the widely-accepted Internet standard protocol, web service can efficiently cooperate heterogeneous application systems on different platforms. However, current web service lacks of explicit semantics. It can only use keywords to search for services. Web service fails to enable semantic representations of business relations, contracts and business rules in a machine-understandable way. At present, the development of semantic web provides a chance for web service. Using semantic web, all information on the network has their semantics. Thereby, the machine can understand and deal with this information. Combining the character of loose couple of web services with the semantic information provided by semantic web, we can match, find, invoke web services automatically, so as to build and execute business process dynamically. As a result, this paper integrates the application systems from different enterprises better.This paper discusses the models and methods of enterprise application integration based on semantic web services. This dissertation aims at enriching the semantic representation and supporting ability of EAI on the basis of current SOA based approaches so as to realize more flexibility, adaptability and maintainability of EAI, which makes enterprises more efficient and competent. Around this goal, the paper makes deep research on some relative key technologies. The main contributions and innovation of this paper are listed below:(1) This paper analyzes the actualities and deficiencies of current web service and EAI. And the paper combine semantic web with web services to present a semantic web services model.(2) This paper build an Enterprise Application Integration Platform based on semantic Web service. In the platform, application systems are abstracted and wrapped as web services. These services are described semantically and published in the registry center of the platform. Applications propose their requests through the platform. Appropriate concrete services are discovered and matched dynamically by the platform. Then business systems are selected and executable business processes generated dynamically.(3) This paper improves an algorithm for semantic Web services composition and introduce the ontology to compose the Web service. This method considers the quality and the efficiency of service composition, so it can compose service automatically according to service request.
