With the rapidly developing of Intemet and the increasing demand of various wireless communication services,people are not satisfied with simple voice communication any more.Therefore,it becomes a necessary request to change simple voice communication into multimedia communication.And 3G Mobile Communication which could provide multimedia services get to be the point in the study of modern communication field.In wireless communication system,although protocol of every layer makes much affect on the performance of system,physical layer does definitive effect to the basically capacity of communication link.Hence,when discussing on wireless communications,it often becomes the main discuss object.In order to improve the communication performance,using the plans of good coding and decoding which not only reducing error code but also improving the reliability of digital communication are important for the physical layer that relative with the system availability.For example,the transmission reliability of wireless channel can be improved by recurrent coding and Turbo coding in WCDMA system.This text shows a brief introduction for the WCDMA system which applying in 3G Communication.And then analysis the coding and decoding for the maximum likelihood code,recurrent code and Turbo code based on Shannon channel coding theorem.The WCDMA particularly channel multiplexing plan is depth analyzed by MATLAB Simulink tool-box to emulate the process flow chart of uplink coding and decoding,and it also applies to the environment of additive gauss fiat noise and multipath Rayleigh fading.
