The development of linux cluster brings the new challenge to the linux cluster auto-deploy.The scale of linux cluster enlarges and the number of nodes in cluster increases gradually,which brings Administrator more workload,meanwhile,generates some new problems,such as Installation server might become the bottleneck or failure of installation server would affect the deployment of cluster nodes.Any way,some research solved the problems about efficiency,convenience and bottleneck of installation server and mainly to enhance automatization degree,speed of deployment and afford a friendly graphic user interface.There is almost no solution to reliability of installation server and availability of installation service.Especially in the environment where linux cluster scale is large,deployment speed is slow,installation server or the network is dated and administering is complicated,the reliability and availability is more important.This paper adopts some open source softerware and technology,solved the problem put forward.By describing a process of linux cluster deployment,analyzes the linux cluster deployment mechanism deeply.Designes and realizes a linux cluster deployment system with reliability,availability and load-balance characteristic.This system plants some packages needed by cluster administrating,writes the post automatization script of cluster deployment,realizes the seamless connection between cluster deployment and cluster administrating.Amalgamates RAID1,Bonding and Heartbeat to Kickstart,avoides the single point failure of installation server,enhances the reliability of installation server and availability of installation service,advances the reliability of nodbody hold installation.There is some value to massive linux cluter deployment.
