High power diode pump solid state laser (DPSSL), which is widely used in the manufacturing and processing industries in resent years, is a frontier topic in laser fields at home and abroad. With the development of the science and technology and the demand of our country's laser industry development, in order to change the current situation that low-end equipments and traditional lasers occupying domestic market, it is very urgent to develop the entire solid state laser with fully independent intellectual property.This article analyzes the working principle and the correlation theories of diode pump solid state laser, designs the control system of the end-pump green light laser. It also makes arguments and chooses feasible plans. Through researching and designing, the hardware circuit and the software of the control system is finally realized. By use of various technologies including the numerical control technology, the LCD demonstration technology, the PC switch technology as well as the constant voltage-current technology, this article realizes the pump source LD permanent power control, the frequency multiplication crystal LBO constant temperature control and the Q drive QS high frequency signal control, etc. Using DSP chip TMS320LF2407A as the control core, together with DS1302 clock chip and many kinds of logical gate integrated circuits, it realizes a high precision and stability control to the main parameters such as the current, the temperature, the frequency and so on. The technical parameters that achieved include: LD current 0~50A (scope adjustable), ripple±0.1A; temperature 15~30℃adjustable, ripple±0.1℃; LBO temperature 26℃~60℃, ripple±0.1℃; QS high frequency signal 1~100KHz adjustable, low level pulse width 1us invariable .This article researches and designs the control system of the end-pump green light laser. Through experiments and tests of correlation parameters, the prototype of the laser is assembled, which can output high quality laser-beam in a long period of time with stable status. It provides experiences for advanced laser development and lays a foundation for the research of other high power laser products.
