Research And Implementation Of HTun VPN At Windows Platform

With the continuous development of communications network technology, network technology simplifies the way information exchange, increases the speed of information exchange and enhances the dynamics of co-operation and security, but it also faces challenges from the Internet. Virtual private network because of its safety, reliability and flexibility, it is becoming a hot topic.In many cases, application service is replacing IP service as the de facto form of network connectivity. How to obtain a better sevice from the application layer is becoming the content of people's attention. One example is the popular use of an HTTP proxy service as a substitute for IP Internet connectivity.This paper is mainly concern to how to provide IP service over an http proxy based windows platform. With HTun VPN, we propose and demonstrate an IP over HTTP tunneling protocol that provides a full IP infrastructure in a strict HTTP environment.This paper introduced the Open VPN and HTun VPN technology, and then focused on the VPN technology based Windows platform.We rewrote the HTun VPN and realized the HTun VPN based on the Windows platform.In this study, we can improve the availability and security of network connectivity. It can make a widely usage of VPN technology based the application layer in the network.
