The Research Of A Mobile Agent-based Subscribe/Publish System

With the development of mobile communication,especially wireless communication,mobile computing will become an important mode of calculation. Portable devices such as notebook,PDA are usually adopted for this calculation. However,the mobile computing environment possesses mobility,frequent connection and disconnection,weak equipment storage and processing capability,low bandwidth, Mobile Agent technology is involved for the purpose of realizing Subscribe/Publish system in the mobile environment.A Mobile Agent-based commercial service Subscribe/Publish system is raised to satisfy the function and performance requirements of the supermarket chain data service system by analyzing Mobile Agent characteristics.Mobile Agent technology is introduced into the framework of Web service.The Agent are designed to play different roles in course of service subscribing,service publishing,service binding and calling,e.g.customer server Agent,data server Agent,UDDI server Agent,, subscription Agent,release Agent,result Agent.Agent with different functions and roles(e.g.Server Agent and User Agent) are defined.Based on user input conditions,customer server Agent generates a subscription Agent automatically,subscription Agent interacts with UDDI server Agent through the network,and UDDI server Agent will preserve the service address in the subscription server.Data server Agent produce publication Agent dynamically through inquirying supermarket database in course of service publication,publication Agent will bring the published services directory from the server to the registry center, which will be handed to registration server Agent and registered in the registry table. In course of service binding and calling,subscribers will timely use the service existing in itself to generate Mobile Agent danamically to inform different data server Agents according to different service providers,the service will be generated,passed to result Agent and returned to customer in a timely manner by result Agent. Based on Aglet system and the mobility of Mobile Agent,this commercial service Subscribe/Publish system realizes the localization of database access,avoids a large number of data transmission in network,greatly reduces the needs of bandwidth and mobile terminal at normal operation of the system,gains higher data access efficiency and flexibility,achieves the service query and selection intelligence, improves Web services inquery efficiency and embodies the software design of humanization.
