Construction Of Parametric And Number Controls Graphics Library Based On DXF Files

Since we enter the new century,computer technology has been widely used in all walks of life,especially in the field of product development.The traditional cutting machine can not read dxf files directly,it must use conversion software to generate NC code which is conveyed to the cuting machine using U pan.NC code should be modified manually when process different machine part.With the development of CNC technology,this traditional method fail to satisfy the society demands.For this reason,a new method of NC processing code graphic library based on dxf files is proposed.This graphic library system can read dxf files directly to generate graphic and NC code.,and realize the different process demands with the parametric technology.This system is a parametric NC processing code graphic library system which is based on dxf files.Graphic data is stored in the form of data file,when we need to process one spare part,extract the graphic data from database,and then analyse the graphic data to genreate processing graphic and NC code.New graphic can be created and old graphic an be deleted according to the needs of customers.Fiestly,data structure of graphic including geometric information and dimention information are analysed in detail in this article,And then we make a deep study of parametric technology,analysing the principle;virtues and defects of various parametric design methods.We advance the parametric design principle of this system,and achieve parametric drawing of graphic through analysing the realization process of parametric drawing in detail.Finally,we discuss the extraction of graphic data,drawing of graphic and the generating of NC code.This system is intented to set up computer network by use of customer / server model which can achieve the data sharing and operated on the LabWindows / CVI platform.Datasocket technology is used in this system to realise the communication between Client and Server.Finally,the article analyse the interface design of this system and examples.We advance the design of the parametric drawing interface and information popup interface.Draw different graphics by inputing different parameters,indicate the corresponding NC code in the graphic to make a comparison between graphic and its NC code. The experimental results show that the parametric drawing and NC code genreating have achieved the expected results.This constructing method of parametric NC processing code graphic library system based on dxf files achieves a certain feasibility,and has good pratical application and prospect.
