The thesis studies the basic architecture and implementation technology of Service-Oriented Architecture(SOA).Windows Communication Foundation(WCF), which is the latest Service-Oriented technology in.NET3.0,is used to design and realize the Network Gas Meters System based on SOA in this thesis.The main work of this thesis is focused on how to design and realize the Network Gas Meter System.Firstly,the typical multi-layered architecture is used to realize the Network Gas Meter System based on SOA with the use of WCF.The system architecture includes presentation layer,service layer,business logic layer,data access layer and database layer.Secondly,in the analysis of the business processing,the important and mutable businesses,which can be used in other systems,are encapsulated in WCF services. There are five service functions of the Network Gas Meter System,user service, meter-transcribing service,fees service,valve control service,devices monitoring service etc.Thirdly,the Network Gas Meter System is implemented layer by layer.The service layer is focused on the design of interfaces and contracts,and the services are published after being realized.Every service can also be used by other systems in need, and the customer service is taken as an example.The data access layer uses NHibernate, which is based on object/relational mapping technology.The presentation layer is realized by Windows Presentation Foundation,which is a latest presentation technology in.NET3.0.Finally,through the application of the detailed implementation of the SOA process in the Network Gas Meter System.The system architecture mode based SOA,which is designed by this thesis,is agile and efficient.
