Optical fiber sensing technology with fiber-optic and optical communication technology and evolving,it appears to make many complex sensor networks become possible,and greatly broadens the scope of application of optical fiber technology.Fiber Bragg Grating sensor light weight,corrosion-resistant,anti-electromagnetic interference, the use of safe and reliable,with transmission and sensing characteristics,can have continuous,without interruption,and other characteristics of long-distance measurements.With fiber grating can easily be measured to achieve distributed sensing,fiber Bragg grating sensor in such bridges,tunnels and other buildings and areas such as aviation and aerospace technology has broad application prospects and huge market potential.In this paper,a comprehensive understanding of the field of tunnel fire research,based on analysis of existing tunnel fire alarm monitoring system,based on fiber Bragg grating to improve the thermal detectors tunnel fire alarm monitoring system.The use of fiber Bragg grating wavelength division multi-zone system technology to solve complex issues with limited capacity from the fiber Bragg grating temperature sensor, system software and alarm systems,such as the completion of several aspects of the design of the system.Carried out in the tunnel system, field test,analyze the results of ignition tests and the West in the Shanghai-Chengdu Expressway in engineering applications.This article is mainly the following points:1)FBG temperature sensing system was applied in the field of tunnel fire alarm Monitoring in which the actual studies and existing technique were analyzed,and the Feasibility was studied. 2)The applicable FBG temperature sensing detector aiming is designed at the Characteristic of this field,the software is designed according to the requirement of Data processing and system alarm.3)This system was installed and debugged in the 1:1 experimental tunnel on Chongqing Communications Research and Design Institute Tunnel and Traffic Engineering Department,and the simulative fire alarm monitoring experiment was done.4) According to experimental data and spot status,the dynamic characteristic in Temperature rise and temperature field distribution were analyzed and the performance of differently encapsulated detector was compared.
