As a new basic platform technology, Web Services has been widely researched and used. It changes the traditional process-oriented, object-oriented and component-oriented software development methods, and has gradually become a new milestone in the field of distributed computing network. However, for a relatively short time of its existence, many works need to be done. At present, Web Services are limited in the area of simple synchronous applications which can not support the complex application characterized with asynchronous call. This has become a bottleneck in its development.A number of domestic and foreign manufacturers and research institutions have carried out this study and have achieved certain results. However, the results of these studies have not been widely used, many problems still exist. How to achieve and improve Web Services Asynchronous Call is still a very worthwhile study.This thesis introduces the basic concept of Web Services and the real demand for Web Services Asynchronous Call. The communication modes of Message-Oriented Middleware are researched while focusing on the MSMQ (Microsoft's Message-Oriented Middleware). The synchronous call model and the asynchronous call model are analyzed as well as the difference between them. The design ideas and solutions of this stage to achieve Web Services Asynchronous Call are summed up. The advantages of combining the Web services and MSMQ are discussed.On the basis of the research mentioned above, a new Web Services Asynchronous Call model is designed, which make the SOAP message transmits as the MSMQ message, and achieved Web Services Asynchronous Call at the network level. The model is a good solution to the traditional problems of Web Services Asynchronous Call, which provides a loosely coupled environment of asynchronous interaction. Then, the asynchronous system under the actual need of our stone project is realized. Finally, the performance of the system is tested. The experiments show that the system is of certain practicality and resistance.The investigation on the asynchronism of Web Services has significant value for improving the performance, quality of Web Services and expanding the scope of Web Services applications.
